Ban Xa Bridge is the longest and largest concrete bridge in the Northwest region of Vietnam, spanning the Son La hydroelectric reservoir in Song Da ward, Muong Lay town, Dien Bien province. The bridge is 670 meters long, the bridge deck is 9 meters wide and the highest pillar is 50 meters, with 7 cantilevered concrete spans.
This is a key project, connecting National Highway 12 with resettlement areas and administrative areas of Muong Lay town, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the region.
The completion and putting into use of Ban Xa Bridge helps people and vehicles travel more conveniently in Muong Lay town, limiting the situation of having to take a boat, which is potentially dangerous.
Ban Xa Bridge is not only an important traffic project but also an architectural highlight, creating a majestic landscape among the mountains of the Northwest. Located across the Son La hydroelectric reservoir, the bridge offers visitors a beautiful view, reflecting the sky and the majestic mountains, attracting nature and photography lovers.
With its modern design, Ban Xa Bridge not only serves the needs of travel but is also an ideal destination for those who want to explore the majestic architecture in the mountains and forests of Northwest Vietnam.
