To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Veterans Association, the Town Veterans Association coordinated with the Cultural - Radio - Television Center of the commune to organize a Volleyball Tournament.

This tournament had 5 men's volleyball teams with more than 50 athletes from the Ward and Commune Veterans Association; the 487 Block Veterans Association and 01 Former Town Police team. The teams played in a round-robin format with points. After 2 days of serious competition, the first prize went to the 487 Block Veterans Association; the second prize went to the Song Da Ward Veterans Association; the third prize went to the Na Lay Ward Veterans Association. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 02 consolation prizes and 01 prize to the best athlete.

The volleyball tournament for the War Veterans is an opportunity for members of the War Veterans Association at all levels to exchange and practice sports, contributing to promoting the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" among the subjects in the area. Creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for War Veterans Association members to compete to successfully complete the socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and the following years./.
